Following a year of consultation with local groups, Linden Homes has submitted a planning application to redevelop a key site along Blackfriars Road, between Pocock Street and Surrey Row.
The scheme proposes to demolish the existing buildings on the site – including the old garages along Pocock Street - and replace them with a new development providing much needed housing along with uses providing active and safer frontages at ground level.
The height of the development has been reduced from earlier options and now rises from 6 storeys along Pocock Street to 10 storeys on Blackfriars Road.
